CRAP Business cards - Bad vs Good

This is an example of a bad business card that doesn't follow the CRAP guidelines. First of all the color choices for the fonts are all over the place, it doesn't draw your attention to a particular place, which disregards the part of contrast where there's suppose to be a focal point. The position of the text is also all over the place and overlaps in some parts as well which doesn't create contrast. There isn't any repetition within the card, everything seems different and it doesn't really seem to fit in together. The alignment is horrible, everything seems randomly placed. Proximity is also bad, the name up top in green is too close to the text under it and the quote in black is in an awkwardly placed area where it touches the image at the bottom right.

I thought this business card followed the CRAP guidelines much better then the previous one. The simple colored flags and cute clip art that are placed on the white background provide a nice contrast. The colors used are consistent and go well together, this repetition of color brings a sense of unity among the overall design. The alignment of the text is good, the placing of "Fanny's Fancies" in the middle with the red color draws your attention while the smaller fonts underneath provide more information without taking away the attention from the business names. Lastly, the proximity of everything is organized and proportional, nothing seems out of place or strange.
