The words "augmented reality" suggest that something is being changed or manipulated about reality. The first thing that comes to mind for me are certain video games or apps that help you see things in the real world that aren't actually there. A good example for this would be Pokemon Go. By using the camera, this app makes the creatures seem to be in the real world. I know another app that does a similar thing. By using the camera in your room or in an area of your house, you can picture different types of furniture in your home. It helps you get an idea as to how the item might look in your house if you were to purchase it. Basically these apps can be very helpful or just a source of fun and entertainment.
