Internet memes article reflection

As it explains in the article, some people who were used in a popular meme have been bullied but others have actually made money through the use of their meme. I think "the right to be forgotten" that has been implementing in the EU is a good thing to help some of these people live a more normal life. It's really easy for people to laugh at certain memes because it's about a stranger, you don't know anything about their actual lives. I think that even if we implemented "the right to be forgotten" on google here in the US, it would still be hard to monitor exactly what is done with the image because there are other ways of attaining memes like through social media.
