This Video mashup relates to the criteria of quoting in order to recombine elements to make a new work that depends for its meaning on (often unlikely) relationships between elements. Both remixes and mashups fall into this criteria, and in this case the creator used different clips of Mr. Obama's speeches to create something new. They only used about a minute and a half of the song, but many clips from different speeches so it could appear that he was singing to a Justin Bieber song. This channel is well known to make videos like this, there are others where Obama is singing Blank Space by Taylor Swift and One Dance by Drake as well as other popular songs.
